Authentic slaked-lime paint, applied by hand in two coats over a mineral base. Breathable, zero-VOC and alive in changing daylight — the soft, cloudy movement a synthetic imitation cannot reproduce.

Measured on wall area. The range reflects wall condition, number of colours and the size of the job.
| Scope | Rate |

Whole home or multi-room Several rooms in one mobilisation. Best rate per square foot. | $4.50 – $5.50 per sq ft |
Matte sealer Optional, for kitchens, sink areas and high-touch walls. | $1.50 per sq ft |
Rates cover labour and application — surface prep, bonding primer, mineral base coat and two coats of limewash. We recommend Meoded and Color Atelier, both zero-VOC authentic lime paints. Material can be supplied by you or by us; exact quantities and cost are confirmed in writing before anything is ordered. Ceilings, trim, doors and cabinetry are quoted separately.
Patching, sanding and a bonding primer where the existing paint is glossy. Limewash will not hold without it.
Real boards made on your wall in your light. Nothing is ordered until you approve the colour.
Base coat plus two limewash coats, brushed in a cross-hatch to build the movement.
Floors, fixtures and adjacent surfaces fully masked. Daily tidy-up and a final walkthrough.

$4.50 to $7.50 per square foot of wall area. Accent walls run $6.50–$7.50, single rooms $5.50–$6.50 and whole-home projects $4.50–$5.50. Prep, bonding primer, mineral base coat and two limewash coats are included.
Limewash cures hard and lasts for years on interior walls. It is dry to the touch in hours and fully cured in about seven days. For kitchens, sink areas and hallways we add a matte sealer at $1.50 per square foot, which makes the surface water-resistant and wipeable.
Yes. Over standard matte or eggshell paint we prime with a mineral base coat. Over semi-gloss or high-gloss we first apply a waterborne bonding primer, then the base coat. Both are included in the rate.
A single room is usually two to three working days including prep and cure between coats. A whole home is typically four to eight days depending on square footage.
