$4.50 to $7.50 per square foot of wall area. Accent walls run $6.50–$7.50, single rooms $5.50–$6.50, whole-home projects $4.50–$5.50. Prep, bonding primer, mineral base coat and two limewash coats are included.
$6 to $10 per square foot of wall area — feature walls $8–$10, full rooms $7–$9, multi-room projects $6–$7.50.
The same as Roman clay: $6 to $10 per square foot. Moroccan clay is burnished harder and sealed, in the tadelakt tradition, but the labour prices out the same.
$2.50 to $4.50 per square foot of wall area. Walls only in one colour are $2.50–$3.25; with trim and doors $3.25–$4; heavy prep or multi-colour $3.75–$4.50. Ceilings are $1.75–$2.50 per square foot.
Venetian plaster is quoted per project rather than at a fixed rate, because coat count and burnishing time vary widely. It sits above our clay finishes, which run $6 to $10 per square foot. We make a sample board first and price from there.
No. The on-site visit and the written, itemised quote are free. We measure the wall area, talk through the finish and send the quote within 48 hours. It is held for one month.
The rates are for labour and application. Material can be supplied by you or by us — either way we confirm the exact product, quantity and cost in writing before anything is ordered.
Meoded and Color Atelier. Both are authentic mineral paints made from natural slaked lime, zero-VOC and solvent free, fully breathable and naturally resistant to mould. Synthetic imitation finishes cannot reproduce the depth.
A single room in limewash is two to three working days. Clay finishes take a little longer because of the coat schedule. Whole-home interiors typically run four to eight days.
On its own it is a breathable mineral surface, best left unwashed in high-traffic areas. For kitchens, sink walls and hallways we add a matte sealer at $1.50 per square foot, which makes it water-resistant and wipeable.
Yes — cabinet refinishing, faux bois and furniture pieces. These are quoted per project rather than per square foot because the work is in the doors and the finish schedule.
